It is with great sadness we disclose that Keith Moore passed away on November 11, 2023. Keith was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, a rare, aggressive form of skin cancer. He lost his battle with the disease shortly after being diagnosed. 

Keith was a beloved member of his community, spending more than 20 years of his life in Columbia, Maryland. Keith was known by most as “Coach K” as he coached many different recreational sports teams while his children were growing up in the community. He was also a proud University of Maryland alumni and super-fan, known as “Special K”. The positive impact that Keith had on anyone who crossed his path is undeniable.

Keith leaves behind four children with whom he loved more than anything. Although his children were able to care for him in his final days, there wasn’t much time to prepare for the costs that come with terminal illness and a proper memorial service. We are asking for donations to help cover these costs. Anything is appreciated.

The memorial service will take place in January 2024, we will update with more details in the future.
