Rosemarie Chila battling Brain cancer!

NEWEST UPDATE ON ROSIE! July 27th!!
I’m so happy to report that Rose is in recovery and is doing great! Her blood counts are still down so it delays some of her long-term meds that she will be on for at least the next five years but each day she feels better and has more energy to do and feel more normal like herself. However, she still needs to do a lot of resting and chill haha!
She wanted everybody to know that she is so overwhelmed by your generosity, love, and especially prayers! We continue to pray for her speedy recovery!
You are donations and contributions have been got sent and have been such a comfort for Rose and I to be able to manage all the invoices we constantly receive from medical providers. Insurance does cover a good portion, but as you know, there is always co-pays and even very large amounts that we are responsible for and it’s been a process, but you’ve helped ease the burden..
A little bit about roses, journey and path to recovery is that she was diagnosed in October 2022 and started an oral chemo in November. That lasted a few weeks until she got sick and put into the hospital where immediately after receiving good treatment to help her recover quickly from that and attend our sons wedding in April 2023 the next week she had a port installed into her chest and for the next 16 weeks received Chemo treatments. Upon completing that stage, she waited approximately 8–10 weeks until she had a double mastectomy bilateral surgery.
On enduring the same surgery, she received reconstructive surgery as well for a total of eight hours. A lot of Pain and discomfort she experienced for the next few weeks while recovering. The last part of her treatments was having radiation five days a week.
She’s about five weeks out from the end of radiation and is in a long-term healing stage.
She has handled this like a trooper and I know that if you know Rose, it was hard for her to not work and sit and relax a lot lol.
She did very well, and yes, we all had to encourage her to chill a lot as I said she is really strong and brave, and hopefully an inspiration to others! All our love! Tony

NEW UPDATE WEDNESDAY MAY 9th!!
Rose is doing quite well! She’s been through a lot but has always came through like a trooper thanks to everyone’s support and especially Prayers!!

She started her radiation treatments last week and will continue with them 5 days a week for the next five weeks remaining for a total of 6 weeks!

Her comfort level is mediocre with some ruff days but honestly lately she has had more good days!

Your donations have really really helped her and I tackling bills that pile up and groceries etc. so many of you have been so generous and we feel extremely blessed to have friends and family like you consistently checking in on Rose and I too!!

Much Love! Tony

Update! Wednesday, March 6th!
Rose had a little bump in the road on her way to recovery from surgery. She’s developed an infection and was admitted to the hospital for the past couple days. She will be in there for another day and hopefully discharged. They did have to put in a pick line which is basically a home IV so she can stay on important antibiotics and be monitored for the next 2–3 weeks, she’s been in some pain and discomfort but we are hoping this clears up and she can continue to recover for a few weeks until she starts radiation treatments. Thank you again for all your support!

Rosemaries surgery and reconstructive surgery passed with flying colors!! God has answered so many prayers for Us, we can’t thank you enough! She’s going to be resting and healing for about another 8-12 weeks until her daily radiation begins. Thank you Everyone for your generosity, support and
Please, Please keep Rosie in your prayers!!

If you’re able to still donate, it would be very helpful for her doctor and medical bills are piling up and just managing to keep up with our regular expenses has been very challenging! Thank you to
All!!

Rosie’s Story;
My wife Rosemarie Chila was diagnosed with breast cancer last November of 2022.
She’s been receiving chemotherapy treatments since December of 2022 and has a couple more treatments to go before facing a double mastectomy surgery this coming February of 2024 with reconstructive surgery and radiation to follow.
If you’ve known Rosemarie over the years or maybe you knew her my her many titles (Coach Rose, Miss Rose, Mrs. Chila, Mom, Rosie), You know she is always there to lead the charge and do whatever needs to get done and she gets it done, never expecting anything in return! Whether she was teaching dance classes, coaching gymnastics, coaching cheer & dance teams, choreographing a dance in a school musical or teaching pre-school, she’s touched so many young girls and young ladies lives over her lifetime. Ask anyone that knows her and they’ll tell you she wasn’t just their coach or teacher, she was their role model, their friend, their shoulder to cry on and much more! She’s managed all of this while still raising two amazing children and being the best wife a guy could ever ask for! Her Faith in God has strengthened her ever more so throughout this journey and she Will beat this!

Now is a great time to step up for her now and help her get through this difficult time with a prayer or a kind word or two and whatever you feel is in your heart!

Thank you in advance for being a part of her life and bringing her so much happiness with your hard work and smiles and of course your Love and support! God Bless!
