For all of you who have had the opportunity to meet Mike Summers, you probably know what he is going through with his beautiful wife Stephanie.

For those of you that do not know Mike, let me take some time to tell you about him.

Mike was a dedicated public servant for 30 years serving Rutherford County in a variety of law enforcement roles.

Mike was known throughout the County as a true professional to both the community he served and the officers that served with him.

Stephanie Summers was also well known throughout the community as a pediatric nurse assisting in delivering hundreds of local babies. Stephanie's expertise and skill was sought after by Physicians and fellow Nurses.

Mike is currently a senior officer at Marksman Security greeting everyone who comes in each morning with a smile and kind word.

What many people do not know, is that Mike has been taking care of Stephanie for many years through some trying medical issues. His dedication to her has been an inspiration for many.

Stephanie has recently gone through extensive life threatening surgery that is going to require an extended amount of physical therapy.

Though Mike has insurance from his years in law enforcement, unfortunately it does not cover the tremendous bills associated with Stephanie's rehabilitation.

We are looking to raise enough money so that Mike can hire an experienced healthcare professional to assist him with the basics.
