My client Tracena tragically passed away leaving 4 young sons (including a newborn) without their mother. I've represented Tracena for the last 9 years and I've watched her continuously fight to stabilize her life and overcome very difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, her journey in this life ends here: at just 33. Her mother, Tracy, is caring for the children and needs assistance to provide a funeral for her daughter and ensure the boys have something close to a Christmas.

In my mind I can clearly see a young mother who I sat next to in a cleared courtroom in handcuffs nearly a decade ago. She cried and as we spoke and she was clearly at a crossroads in her life. Tracena, at her core, was a sweet, honest and loving person, who loved her sons more than anything on earth. Those in my profession have the benefit and burden of enduring so much with clients that you almost feel they become something like family. I would like to give Tracena's sons and mother the type of help that provide them a sliver of comfort in this horrible circumstance.
