My name is Terry. My son just had my first grandchild. He was born with a heart defect that is going to require two or more open heart surgeries. My son and his family are having to travel to Shands Hospital in Gainsvile to have the procedures done. My grandson, Grayson, had his first surgery, called the Norwood procedure, done shortly after he was born and he did great with his recovery. His second open heart surgery may have to be done within the next few months to a year. Because they are traveling to Shands hospital they are aquiring a lot of added expenses along with the associated medical bills. They were away for close to two months the first time and it could be as long if not longer for the second surgery. I am trying to raise money to help them focus on Grayson and not have to worry about anything else.
