I'm sure majority of you are aware, earlier this year Kevin Brown was diagnosed with a blood cancer called Myeloma. Unfortunately there is no cure for Myeloma but it is a very treatable blood cancer. Although he will not be cured there are lots of treatment available to him.

Kevin has been getting plenty of treatment and has had to take a lot of time off work. His sick pay ran out in June, which means his only income is statutory sick pay.

This has obviously has had an emotional effect on Kevin and his family but also has had a massive financial impact whilst having to travel to Newcastle for treatment.

We hope to try and ease some of the worry for Kevin and his family by raising as much as possible to help a man who has given so much to Egremont town representing both rugby clubs, crab fair committee member and even one of Santa's elves on his travels round the local areas!

Please please dig deep, any amount made will be greatly appreciated- at a time where everyone is feeling the pinch, some will clearly feel it more.
