Ian (Jenks) Jenkins

My Name is Jim and I looking to raise some money for Jenks ( Also Becky and Pops) in this cost of living crisis. This has obviously been worse with Jenks's current health situation which I will outline now.

Jenks started feeling unwell in December 22 but assuming it was just exhaustion from his arthritis cracked on without a worry. In April 2023 Jenks turned a little yellow and this was the beginning of the terrible journey he has been on.

CT Scans, MRI scans, colposcopy and endoscopy this resulted in a diagnoses of PRIMARY SCLEROSING CHOLANGITIS and also 13 polyps in his colon. This has resulted in an Illeostomy opertion. After the removal of his Bowel a biopsy has revealed stage 3 cancer. If that wasnt enough his liver went into shock and his bile ducts are now blocked meaning no chemo can take place until this has recovered, But Jenks also has PSC ( a rare liver condition that can only deteriorate) so recovery is going to take a lot longer. Jenks has only just left hospital after 8 weeks and is weak and obviously cannot work.

Jenks and Becky are very good friends of mine and in times like these we all need friends. Jenks only gets statutory sick pay and we all know how bad that is.
