Hello! My name is MJ Luna and I'm raising money to cover the costs of my top surgery and associated recovery time. This has been a long time in the making and I'm incredibly excited to be so close to the finish line.

Because of strange (read: dumb) insurance reasons, I don't actually know what my out of pocket cost will be yet, so the $5,000 goal is a guesstimate. Funds will go towards paying my medical bills as well as any costs that I incur during the recovery period. I'm very fortunate to be able to take two months of paid extended medical leave, so I want to give my body and mind the best healing environment I can.

I can't describe how important of a step this is for me in my transition journey. For literal years I thought this was a pipe dream that I would never be able to make happen. I've never been so happy to prove my past self wrong.
