Help Save Our Little Bub

Dear Ones,

In the midst of much larger challenges the world is currently facing, our little family is reaching out with a humble request for support. Our beloved cat, Bub, who is only 3.5 years old, is currently dealing with some serious and seemingly baffling health issues and we are seeking assistance to cover associated medical expenses after exhausting our insurance coverage.

Bub is an absolute bundle of joy who has brought endless love and laughter into our lives - he really is our baby. We adopted him 6 months after my Dad’s very sudden and unexpected passing and he has been my loving, cuddly right hand ever since our first embrace (of so, so many). Our natural emotional support animal and very spirited heart of gold has been right by my side during the hardest years of my life - I always say he’s saved my life many times (along with my amazing friends and family). Now, our little angel is battling for his life, and it’s our turn to save him.

Our beloved Bubbie, our greatest source of comfort and companionship, has been navigating a medical journey since mid-August that has involved just about every test, aspirate, and biopsy under the sun. He’s had a feeding tube, several chest taps, chest tubes, and more, and we still don’t have any concrete answers. We are completely dedicated to providing the best care possible for our little love and would really like to ensure he continues to have a happy and healthy life. He deserves the world.

This little guy has enriched our lives more than we could have ever imagined, and also enriches the lives of others. Every single person, doctor, nurse, animal (of any species) that he has crossed paths with immediately recognizes how special and loving he is. During his first longer-term hospitalization, the E.R. doctor messaged us that he had quickly “become the star of the kitty ward and everyone loves him.” He is just a gift.
