Remembering our Dear Friend Angel Ruiz

Dear friends and family,

Life is a beautiful thing that is only enhanced by hope in our Lord and those beings around us who love us and help us grow to become the best versions of ourselves. Angel Ruiz was a light in all of our lives who called us up to grow toward the plans that God has for us.

Angel’s infectious humor, his faith in Jesus, his zest for justice, and his love for all of those he met, brightened up all the places he walked into.

Angel unexpectedly passed to be with the Lord a few days ago, but his essence will remain with us forever. I am sure that everyone reading this has a funny story where they laughed their guts out with Angel or cried deep tears because of the hope he helped to inject into their life during a hard season. One of the warmest memories you probably have of him is when he called you "Mijo" or "Mija".

Even, though we all felt so loved by Angel, there is no one that he loved more than his wife Andrea, his son Josh, and his daughter, Alia. That love also rippled out to his mother, his sister, his brothers, and close friends whom he shared so many great memories with.

As we celebrate Angel’s legacy and the impact that he made in so many lives, we invite you to invest in helping to keep his legacy alive through caring for his family. In this time of mourning and remembrance, we hope to come together and provide needed support for his wife and children to have the space and time to celebrate his life without the pressures of financial responsibilities left in his absence.
