Please help the hero at Hidden Pines Farm

Hello, early on Monday November 27, 2023 there was a tragic fire at a Hidden pines farm. Around 3 AM the fire alarms alerted the staff at Hidden Pines that a smoke alarm was going off. Awoken from his sleep the lead hand at the center, Eddie Soto leaped out of bed to investigate. From outside everything appeared normal, but uppon entering Eddie was struck in the face and lungs with a plume of thick black smoke, taking the breath out of him as he’s searched for the lights. By that time the barn was fully engulfed in flames. After frantically tripping Eddie was able to catch his breath laying on the ground. His first thought.. the horses. In a heroic attempt, Eddie put his own life in danger and started saving horses. With the barn now fully involved in the fire Eddie was able to save 4 horses and get himself out, not without suffering himself. After Eddie was able to save as many horses as he could, he had to avert his attention to his family. Rushing not more than 100 ft away Eddie burst into his house where his wife mother in law and 3 young kids slept. Eddie is out of the hospital and recovering from his smoke inhalation and minor burns and unfortunately now he is unsure of his future. The home him and his family live in has electricity but the water that was connected to the barn is no longer functional. We have spoken with the owners and their family and they have expressed their support through this time aswell, we are glad to update that the family is currently finding a short term and long term housing for everyone. Let’s continue to support our local hero so him and his family can feel secure during this holiday season.
