We've officially passed halfway to our goal!
Everyone, Haven't taken a look but folks have been updating. Waking up & finally seeing how quickly we've been able to raise funds for Ana & Hendrix has been surreal. You have no idea how much love our family is feeling right now. I ask all who can share a story for your network of who Javier was & how he has shown up in your life. We are so close and every story counts just as much!
Family & friends, it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Javier Flores. He was a Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and more than a friend- he was family with all he connected with. On November 22, 2023, Javier Flores was suddenly taken from us. Although he is no longer here with us physically, his presence will forever be felt by those whom he connected with along this journey we know as life. Many great things could be said; ultimately, there could never be enough said of his character. Although bittersweet, it has been a blessing to have had all impacted by his presence show up and offer support.
The purpose of this crowdfund is to assist with the next stage of his physical being, the expenses needed for his transition into the spiritual life, and the financial support that may be needed for his Immediate family - his Wife, Ana Pandeli, and daughter, Hendrix Flores. Taken too soon, our family will experience a hardship that can be alleviated by the support and donations made to Ana Pandeli as she prepares to carry the load of this sudden loss. In the spirit of community and love, we ask for any available donations to assist his family in need.
His family is arranging all funeral services and creating a financial plan to assist Ana with her sudden and unexpected loss. In doing so, we set the amount to help alleviate the burden that may be overwhelming in the coming months to support the transition. We also understand that the holidays are a time of the year when finances may be limited, and again, we humbly ask for any donation that can be made. If unable to assist financially, please consider how Javier may have shown up and, in his honor, come around, reconnect with his family, and offer support in that way.
Javier and Ana have done so much for others; it is no wonder many people have shown up to offer their condolences and rejoice over their great memories. Javier filled the room with laughter and loved to talk with anyone about anything. He was never judgmental and accepted people for who they were, but he also constantly challenged them to be their best selves. He met his match when Ana showed up in his life. She challenged him to become the better and best version of himself. Their adoration for one another became stronger through their love for the arts, fashion, and creative expression. Their love became solidified by their shared admiration of one another's character and respect for each other. They brought balance to each other's lives, loving one another through the ebbs and flows of life while continuously working towards building a future together. Javier gained a family with Ana's love and support. She was his rock in the storm, his refuge from himself and the home he cherished. Their union culminated in the arrival of Hendrix, his greatest blessing, his twin. Loving, creative, stubborn, fearless, and intelligent. Most impacted by this loss is her, who he was teaching how to take on the world. Making sure Hendrix knew she would be taken care of and supported in all things she expressed interest in, Javier truly adored no one else like he did his daughter. In this time of need, family, friends, and acquaintances whom he made on the basketball courts, music scenes, school, and work, and anyone who may have had positive interactions with him, as well as others who are just now getting a glimpse of who he was and what his spirit embodies, please consider donating to his family in need.
