Hi friends and family,

A few months ago my dad, Jessan Bobadilla, was diagnosed with colon cancer and had surgery to remove a tumor. Recently, we’ve found out it’s stage 3. From the hospital bill from his surgery, monthly bills around the house, and his future chemo bills we will receive, it’s a lot piling up in a short amount of time. We want to be able to give him every chance possible to fight this!! He’s the main source of income for us but he’s had to take medical leave and we don’t know how chemo will affect his ability to work in the future.

My family would appreciate any contribution to get my dad and us through this time, and to make sure there’s no additional stress to what he is already dealing with. My dad is a man of faith, a God-fearing man, who put his life in His hands. We are so grateful to God for letting us find this in time to give him a shot of rising above. We can now only hope for the resources to let us help him out.

If you know my dad you know he is the life of any party, makes friends with absolutely everyone he meets, and is the most reliable and helpful friend one can have. His whole life, he’s gone above and beyond to give to friends and strangers - he’s the type to literally take the clothes off his back and the food from his plate to give to others - and has never expected anything back. As a family, we now hope that his generosity can be reciprocated while he’s going through these hard times. He’s always believed it’s better to have friends than to have money, and now we hope our friends can help him. Thank you and God bless.

Hola amigos y familiares, Hace unos meses a mi papá, Jessan Bobadilla, le diagnosticaron cáncer de colon y lo operaron para extirpar un tumor. Recientemente, descubrimos que es etapa 3. Desde la factura del hospital por su cirugía, las facturas mensuales de la casa y las facturas futuras de quimioterapia que recibiremos, se está acumulando mucho en un corto período de tiempo. ¡Queremos poder darle todas las oportunidades posibles para luchar contra esto! El es la principal fuente de ingresos para nosotros, pero ha tenido que tomar una baja médica y no sabemos cómo la quimioterapia le afectará su capacidad para trabajar en el futuro. Mi familia agradecería cualquier contribución para ayudar a mi papá y a nosotros a superar este momento y para asegurarnos de que no haya estrés adicional a lo que él ya está enfrentando. Mi papá es un hombre de fe, un hombre temeroso de Dios, que puso su vida en Sus manos. Estamos muy agradecidos con Dios por permitirnos encontrar esto a tiempo para darle la oportunidad de poder superarlo. Ahora sólo nos queda esperar que los recursos nos permitan ayudarlo. Si conoces a mi papá, sabrás que es el alma de cualquier fiesta, se hace amigo de absolutamente todas las personas que conoce y es el amigo más confiable y servicial que uno puede tener. Durante toda su vida, ha hecho todo lo posible para ayudar a amigos y extraños (es del tipo que literalmente se quita la ropa de su espalda y la comida de su plato para dársela a los demás) y nunca ha esperado nada a cambio. Como familia, ahora esperamos que su generosidad pueda ser correspondida mientras atraviesa estos momentos difíciles. Siempre ha creído que es mejor tener amigos que tener dinero y ahora esperamos que nuestros amigos puedan ayudarlo. Gracias de todo corazón y Dios los bendiga.
