My granddaughter's house burnt down in Red Lake
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Mary Beth Jourdain I am an art teacher at Ponemah School. On Sunday night 11-26-23 my granddaughter Aunah’s house in Red Lake burned down. Everyone got out of the house safely but they lost everything! My granddaughter Aunah is 10 years old and goes to the Red Lake Elementary School. She has an older sister who is 14 and two younger brothers who are 3 and 1 year old. Their mother’s name is Jamie Martin. Aunah’s dad was my son Brandon, who passed away in May of this year. Jamie works at the Red Lake trading post. Right now the family is staying at the Red Lake Casino until Friday, but they have no place to go after that. Jamie said the tribe may help her to stay there longer.
I am doing my best to help to get donations so they can buy necessities. They need clothes, shoes, food, and diapers. Anything will help. You could bring items to donate or money to Jamie at the Red Lake Trading Post or you could send a donation to the Go Fund Me page I posted for the family.
