Help Ciara heal

Donation protected
On the evening on November 22nd, Ciara was attacked on her walk home from a late bartending shift on Capital Hill. Two men in black hoodies threw a rock at her head that caused her to fall to the ground. In an attempt to steal her backpack, they pulled out a knife and attacked her. She was able to make it out alive and headed to Harborview where she spent 13 hours.
Ciara suffered multiple wounds from this attack including a knife incision in her hip, sprained ankle, sprained wrist, concussion, heavy bruising & a tendon rupture in her finger. She had to have surgery on her finger and has been out of work since and is unsure of a return date. On top of this all, a few days later her neighbor complained about her pitbull who is sweet and harmless and she is now being asked to move out of her apartment.
Seattle is not always the safe place we try to pretend that it is. Please be careful when walking home late at night.
In the bar & restaurant industry that Ciara works in, having use of your hands is a requirement. Medical and moving costs are very expensive, especially when being unable to work. We wanted to start this to support this delightful human. It is really important for us to come together to support our service industry friend during this hard time.
