Early in the morning of November 23rd on Thanksgiving Day, my family received devastating news that our beloved Tammy Spurgeon had a massive stroke that left her with swollen and blood in her brain which left her fighting for her life. Sadly, three days later she lost her battle on November 26, 2023.

Tammy leaves behind 3 of her 4 children, grandchildren's, great-grandchildren's, siblings, and host of loved ones and friends. Tammy was well known in her East New York Community in Brooklyn, NY.

On the lighter side, it became no surprise to us when we heard that Tammy was listed as an Organ Donor. Tammy made the courageous decision to donate her organs. Honoring Tammy's life, our family will be joining NYU doctor's and staff in an Honor Walk on the early morning of November 28, 2023. We invite you to join us in honoring her beautiful spirit.
