Help raise fund for Grace's Medical Costs

Hi, my name is Kelly and my dear friend Linda is in need of some help and support.

For those of you who know her, you know that Linda is one of the kindest and most generous people you will ever meet. She has volunteered countless hours to the community and has received the Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Medal for her volunteer service in Alberta. She never hesitates to help those she cares for, and you couldn't ask for a better friend.

Linda has dealt with RA for most of her life, and her resilience and strength of character has carried her through many challenging times. I admire her so much and I am blessed to call her and Grace, "family".

As many of you know Grace (Gracie) is Linda's greatest joy, and her emotional support companion. Grace has recently been diagnosed with bladder stones and requires emergency surgery to have them removed. Her recovery will be several weeks and it is not something Linda can manage on her own. And after surgery Grace will be on a special (expensive) diet for the rest of her life.

The Blackfalds Veterinary Hospital and their team have stepped up to help Linda and have graciously offered to provide post-op care to Grace until she is able to return home.

The surgery and post-op care is expensive and not something Linda can afford by herself and so I am raising funds to help cover the cost of the surgery, the follow up care, and any additional treatment Grace will require.
