Friends for Chef Michael Pereira Chaverri

Hello all! My name is Johanna Romero and today we come together as a family to help and support my brother-in-law Michael Pereira Chaverri who has recently received a diagnosis of Esophageal cancer.

Michael has been a dedicated husband and father who has always put his family before anything. Throughout many hardships he has always found a way to pull through. He has impacted the lives of many and his presence has been a blessing to those who know him.

For these and many other reasons we have come together to help during this very difficult situation. As the family begins to gather their bearings again and wade into the beginning of treatments, they have realized that they can’t do this alone and would need help to bring Michael across the finish line and win this battle.

The financial burden this diagnosis has imposed on my sister’s family is very hard to take as this diagnosis changed their lives in a single minute.. As Michael takes time off for his treatment and healing the family business will need to incur in extra expenses to cover all of their responsibilities. This is why we have come together in prayer and have begun this campaign in order to help relieve the burden of all of the unexpected medical expenses that are to come. Whatever help we receive is a blessing.

Our family is eternally grateful for all the help and we ask that you keep Michael, my sister and my nephews in your prayers. Once again we are so blessed to have such a caring community to lean on at this time.

PS: Since Puerto Rico is not supported yet by Go Fund Me, Rose Marie Romero and Johanna Romero have been designated as the persons who will be running this campaign and receiving your donations. We will forward all of the collected donations to The Pereira family directly so they can pay for their bills and expenses related to his condition.
