I'm Frank and to be frank, that's enough about me.

Davy Murphy, is an old friend and part of the Liverpool musical family (Super Cannes, Bandito Ray). He's sadly in Hospital currently, in Portugal with, amongst many other woes, a serious spinal injury.

He and his young family now live in an off grid, rural community in Portugal and last week Davy was involved in a car accident which resulted in him being taken to a hospital over an hr and a half away from home, as the injuries he sustained were deemed too serious to be treated locally.

The jury's still out as to the severity of the spinal injury and positivity, at the moment, has to be everyone's mindset.

The first problem to overcome is the loss of income and the added expenses that these tragic events have left Corinne, his partner to deal with, on top of caring for their two young children.

Upon release from hospital, which will be sooner rather than later, we all hope. They will need a period of recuperation/rehabilitation in surroundings suitable to such, before hopefully returning to their rural, off grid idyll.

The thought of having to deal with all the issues above and juggling two small children, one of school age, hospital visits, the cost of medications, travel and the every day costs of just getting by... now on one income, just doesnt bear thinking about. My heart goes out to Corinne and I haven't even factored in the Christmas kidney punch to this appeal.
