Help Me Buy A New Oboe!
I am Seth Glidewell. I love music and play clarinet and oboe. I am currently a tenth grader in high school. In addition to high school concert band, I have played principal oboe for the South Dakota Symphony Youth Orchestra for the past three years. This is an auditioned orchestra, primarily consisting of high school students and few very talented middle school students. I also play oboe for multiple community orchestras, chamber ensembles, charity events, weddings, special events, and church youth group. My dream is to become a professional oboist someday and hope to attend either Curtis or Jacob's School of Music. Unfortunately I have come to the point that I need a new oboe. I have been playing on a beautiful used intermediate Howarth for five years, but it is no longer responding the way I need it to. I have been saving up for a new oboe, working on my grandfather's farm in the summers and helping others learn about clarinet and oboe, but do not have enough and will not for several years. However, replacing my current instrument has become an urgent necessity for my personal growth. Please support me in reaching my dream.

Additionally I give lessons on clarinet, A clarinet, oboe, and English horn.
Again, please consider supporting this dream. Thank you!
