This is Rodney Hacker, a son, brother, husband, and father of two. Rod has battled oral cancer three times, the third time being just three months ago. This week his family recieved the news that his cancer again has returned in just six weeks, and has spread into other areas. Due to the aggressive way this cancer has progressed and how fast it has spread, it is classified as stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma. His tumors thankfully were operable, and with the help of God and his amazing surgeons, his cancer has been removed. However, he is looking at months of treatments, procedures, and a very hard, tedious recovery.
       Rodney is only 40 years old, and has much life ahead of him. Being out of work for the next several months could potentially make for a very difficult financial situation for him. Many of you have asked how you can help him and his family, which is another reason why we set up this fundraiser. This money will not only be used to help them, but also can be used to fund doctors appointments and treatments that may not be covered under his insurance to assure he is receiving the best treatment, if needed. Anything will help, but please do not feel obligated.
