My Name is Mickey Stratton, and my brother Steve Stratton was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. He went for a routine coloscopy after being pushed by a friend to do so because Steve was 55 and never had it done. Steve then got misdiagnosed by the MD/DO, and he was told it was colon cancer and was no big deal. He could of get it cut out. After getting a second opinion, he discovered that it was NOT colon cancer but Rectal Stage 3 cancer. He will most likely do 6 months of CHEMO and 3 months of Radiation treatments. Steve has a 14 old daughter and will incur a lot of bills. He has told me that he already has several thousand in bills and has not started the treatment that will cost the most.
