Hi. My name is Nilda. I'm a retired teacher asking for help, and I've never had to ask for help before, and I'm a bit embarrassed. My sweet weimaraner, Gus, escaped my fenced back yard in the early morning hours because a pack of dogs showed up and attacked one of my cats. Sadly, they killed my kitty. Gus chased them and was hit by a car.

He suffered two collapsed lungs, broken ribs, and is presently under my vets care to drain blood from his injuries. Under surgery, it was discovered he still has small holes in his lungs and is under a continuous treatment to close the holes.

I have tapped out my savings, putting down $1500. Anything will help, and I am most grateful for your time to try and help my Gus.
