My little brother Nate unfortunately got into a swimming accident in August of 2019 that has left him in a wheelchair and paralyzed from the chest down. He is such a hard worker and has dedicated his every minute to domiNATE his injury and work towards complete independence. We have been working daily alongside Nate helping every step of the way to get him the most recovery possible. Part of his injury puts him at higher risk of heart disease so we try to stay as active as possible. Unfortunately, Nates current wheelchair doesn’t allow him to go anywhere unless it is paved or someone pushes him.  We found a chair that would allow Nate to go off-roading, in the sand, mountain bike riding etc., the  possibilities are endless. A wheelchair with the proper wheels costs about  $8,000. Nates present and future medical expenses make it hard for luxuries like this but we will do anything to make him smile. My parents are able to pay for about  half of what this chair costs and we would be extremely grateful to every person who can donate any amount of money they can to pay the rest.
