Help Mark Get Back on His Feet

Hello everyone, first off I’d like to thank you for taking the time to even read this. My name is Mark and recently I’ve had a string of incidents that’s made it hard for me to keep myself up on my feet. I am creating this Gofundme in order to get my car back on the road so I can travel a pretty good distance to find a job. I am currently sleeping on the couch at my grandmas which isn’t ideal but she is the only person in my life that can really help me. It all started when my apartment was caught in the crossfire of a shooting. It was something that had nothing to do with me but I was evicted from my apartment complex anyway, a place that I had lived in for about 14 years.

It was in Orlando but I had a hard time of finding a place and my grandma offered to let me stay with her while I searched. She kind of lives in the middle of nowhere so my 20 minute drive to work turned into an hour with toll roads and 1 hour and 40 minutes without. During this process I ended up losing my job and began my search for a new one, I really didn’t have much money saved up and keeping up with the gas and the cost of my car insurance at the time was running my pockets dry. As my funds were depleting I kept applying and doing the few interviews I could secure when I had an asthma attack.

This was another set back as I spent a week in the hospital as they ran test, at this point I haven’t been dealing with asthma long, only about 4 years. Doctors can’t seem to figure out exactly what’s wrong and my breathing has only been getting worse. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance cause I honestly thought I was going to die and that just gave me another 700 dollar bill for the ride. I couldn’t afford car insurance anymore because it was $365 each month and my license got suspended.

I am trying to get back on track and I need help. I did a new quote and the cheapest insurance I can get now is $190 to start and about $194 a month after which is way better than what I paid before. It will cost $150 to get my license back since it is my first offense and I think 50 dollars to renew my tag. My grandma is doing all she can for me and I really have no where else to turn. I don’t have many friends, I havent used Facebook since I was 12 so it’s been about 18 years. If anyone can help with anything at all, I could really use it.
