This is Richard. He works in the kennel at the vet I work at and has for the past 10 years. He works 6 days a week and works every holiday and weekend. He spoils the dogs that board here with love, singing, and treats (probably a few too many). Richard hasn't had the easiest life. He had to grow up quick and he joined the military at a young age. His wife battled cancer for a while and eventually passed away about 10 years ago. Since then his greatest companions are all of his dogs. They're all rescues that are old and most have health issues. But Richard has given them all a wonderful home. Unfortunately, his most recent take in found his dentures and it didn't end well for the dentures Richard brings me a treat everyday at work, whether it's a bag of peppermints, a cold Coca Cola, fruit, etc., he always makes sure to think of me. While we would love to foot the bill for his dentures here at the vet, we need a little help getting there. So that's why I'm asking y'all to contribute, even $5, to help a hardworking, generous man who could use a little break in life.
