The Channings

Dear Friends, Family and Community,
Despite two brain surgeries and countless rounds of chemo and radiation, it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Liz's courageous 10-year brain cancer journey nearing its end. Throughout her diagnosis, Liz has exemplified ongoing strength as the world's most resilient mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, continuing to inspire all who know and love her.
Numerous individuals have expressed their heartfelt desire to help in some way - whether that be by delivering meals, taking Colton and Dawson out for playdates, sending flowers or assisting with household needs. The Channings have been blessed by so much love and are forever grateful for all of these kind gestures. Your efforts have been so plentiful that their bellies and freezers are full and they have ample support relating to the boys and maintenance of the home. Despite this, the love from everyone is overwhelmingly strong and many friends, family and extended networks remain keen to help in some way.
With everything well taken care of, it has been difficult to recommend additional avenues through which to support the Channings. As such, we have created a GoFundMe to enable those who wish to contribute to the family’s ever-changing journey as they navigate through this difficult time. The resources enabled by this fund will be used to provide future meals for the Channings, associated expenses and activities that support the boys’ overall well-being.
Thank you for being a source of strength and community for the family. Liz and the Channings are forever grateful for your unwavering support and outpouring of love.
