Juanito is a 24 year old Full Time Key Holder at Chicago Premium Outlets Hollister who’s worked for our company 7 years. He is the type of person others love coming to work with because of his positivity, charisma, and high energy.

In September 2023, Juanito quickly fell extremely ill without explanation, resulting in multiple hospital visits and medical procedures. Over the course of 6 weeks, Juanito underwent 6 blood transfusions and 4 surgeries, including open heart surgery, to address an infection of the blood that impacted his heart and other organs. Due to extensive damage to his heart, he was given a pacemaker and was prescribed life-long medication in order to carry on with a normal quality of life.

The store team at Chicago Premium Outlet Hollister and North Chicago District are raising money to help Juanito cover his medical bills and medication as insurance coverage was not available to him during this time. We hope that, with this money, we can ease the burden of medical debt from Juanito and his family and support his physical recovery.
