hi my name is sherie, I'm a 37 year old who was diagnosed with invasive ductile breast cancer in August of this year.

I have since has a mastectomy and started my reconstruction journey but will need another operation to complete the reconstruction. I am waiting on my results to see if my operation was able to get rid of all of the cancer or if more treatment will be needed. if no more treatment is needed I'll be booked in for my reconstruction

I applied to the government for some help during this time, as hospital trips can become expensive, especially when your travelling to the hospital over 6 times a month some times, fuel, buses, taxies, parking it all adds up, but I haven't been told because I can cook my self a meal I am not entitled to any extra help.

I really did not want to make a gofund me page but the time has come to where I am desperately trying to scrape by each month.

please don't look at the goal and think that's what I want or need, I had to put a number and wasn't sure what to put, tbh I don't know how long I'll be in and out of hospital so I'm unsure of what help I'll actually need.
