Bryan's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
*This fundraiser is on behalf of Bryan Sullivan and his immediate family. All proceeds will go directly to them to aid in his treatment, recovery, and loss of income.
On Sunday, October 18 2020, Bryan's life was changed forever.

He was enjoying a night out with a friend when this friend pulled out a firearm and shot Bryan with the intention of killing him. The cause of this sudden and unforeseen attack is unknown, but it is thought that his friend may have been drugged by an acquaintance before getting in the car with Bryan. Bryan recalls his friend being on the phone with someone bragging about how he shot him.
Fortunately, this friend was pulled over for driving erratically and Bryan was able to yell for help. He was found before he succumbed to his injuries. He was rushed to one of the best hospitals in St. Louis where he received top notch care. The shooter is in police custody.
The bullet entered near his spinal cord and for several days, Bryan had no feeling or movement in the left side of his body.
By the grace of God, Bryan has now been able to regain some movement and take a few steps with assistance and a cane. An MRI shows that his spinal cord is in tact, though he still has no use of his left arm.
It is going to be a very long recovery for Bryan. The doctors anticipate that he will need multiple surgeries to remove bullet fragments and repair tissue damage. He has been moved to a rehab facility and beyond that, he will not be able to live independently indefinitely.
It is unknown at this time whether Bryan will be able to return to work in the foreseeable future or whether he will still have his job.
Bryan needs help. He has no medical insurance and will not be able to pay for the medical care he has received in addition to the rehab and extensive physical therapy he will need going forward. The doctors anticipate a 1-2 year recovery.
He has social workers who are trying to get him set up with assistance, but that will not cover all the costs of his care nor make up for his lost income.
All donations received will go to Bryan to aid in his treatment, recovery, and loss of income.
On behalf of Bryan and his family, we extend a heartfelt thank you to those who are able to donate! Anything helps!
Even if you are unable to donate at this time, please share so we can help Bryan in his time of need.
