Gary was admitted to the hospital on October 23rd, 2023. It was determined that he had a heart infection which had broken off to his brain, thus causing a small stroke. We are happy to share that he has fully recovered from the stroke!

On November 17th, 2023, Gary underwent cardiothoracic surgery to remove the infection and replace the infected heart valve. Thanks to an extraordinary medical team, his procedure was a success! He is expected to be sent home in mid December if all goes according to plan.

With this surgery comes much needed rest. Gary will be unable to work for approximately 4-6 months. In the interim, our family would greatly appreciate financial assistance. If you are able to lend a hand, these funds would help cover medical expenses, basic needs, and loss of salary during his recovery.
