Hi everyone!

My name is Jennie and I’m a neighbor of Claire, who is Mitzy’s mom!

On 9/4/25, cruel people took aim with pellet guns at Mitzy while she was outside relaxing. She was literally used as target practice and was rushed to the vet when she was able to limp back home. There’s a lot of land, so her parents did not hear what was happening.

Unfortunately, Mitzy had 4 pellets embedded into her, and it also destroyed her left leg, now requiring amputation. X-rays are posted so people can see the damage this caused her.

Claire is the most caring person and took in Mitzy when she was just 4 months old as a stray found wandering the neighborhood. Mitzy is going to be 4 this month, and her surgery is going to cost $7000. I’m hoping we can raise some money to help Claire with the costs and help Mitzy in her recovery.
