My name is Jed. I’m in need of surgery for an unusual situation that’s been affecting me for the last year.

The surgery I need requires a specialist and waiting times on the NHS are up to 3 years. In addition they are proposing a very radical treatment.

After pursuing private surgeons across America, Europe and the UK I have found someone who is able to perform the surgery. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as I’m self funding the surgery, which is going to be around 7000 including scans, appointments and the surgery itself which is 4100. 

I have had extensive time off work due to the illness and fortunately cancer has been ruled out. However as I start my next chapter and pursue my doctorate I would like to be able to resume a normal life. This has affected me physically and mentally for a long time now and I keep hope for light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for reading.
