Hello, my name is Guizza Maria Steenvoorde, and I have had the incredible honor of representing my beautiful island of Aruba as Teen Universe International 2025. As my reign comes to an end, I want to close this chapter not just with a crown, but with a purpose — and a message that will last beyond the stage.

Pageantry has been a platform, but my true passion has always been social impact and youth empowerment. I founded “Bo No Ta Bo So” (“You Are Not Alone”), a social initiative focused on inclusion, empathy, and mental health awareness among young people in Aruba. Through this project, I’ve worked to build safe spaces where every voice matters and kindness leads the way.

My advocacy journey continued with UNICEF, where I wrote a children’s story and book about protecting coral reefs — inspiring future generations to care for our environment and understand the importance of preserving our planet.

These experiences have shaped my dream: to study International and European Law in the Netherlands, and one day work with UNICEF to defend children’s rights and promote global environmental justice.

Now, as I prepare to end my reign, I want my farewell to be more than a goodbye — I want it to be a celebration of everything I stand for. With your help, I hope to create a farewell presentation and professional video that shares Aruba’s values with the world, support the Autism Foundation of Aruba, and launch the Guizza Maria Fashion Excellence Award to uplift new creative voices.
