Cancer has touched our lives in a way we never imagined. Most of you will know that my Dad received his terminal diagnosis in September 2022 and after a very short while he passed away just 9 weeks later in the November. His departure from this world left a huge whole in my heart and life just isn't or hasn't been the same since.

I have chosen to run for this charity as they provide specialist palliative care services free of charge which are essential for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones. The funds are used for various purposes including:

- Supporting patients in their homes

- Providing medication

- Bereavement counselling

- Specialist therapy sessions

and more......

The staff of Willen Hospice are truly worth their weight in gold!
