It’s time to be vulnerable on the internet.

I’m Jess, I’m 28 and I’m non-binary.

There are a lot of things I want to do before I hit 30. The thing at the top of my list right is getting top surgery.

Anyone who knows me knows that I’ve struggled with having a large chest for a very long time and after a wild amount of going back and forth in my head over what I want, this is it.

NHS waiting lists for gender care are at an all time high. The wait for a consultation alone is currently around 4 years and then another 4-5 for an actual surgery date. These are years that I no longer want to wait. I’ve spent enough time, years, figuring out if this is right for me that waiting any longer isn’t really an option.

I don’t want to have to wait til my mid/late 30s to feel free.

I know that right now I’m one of so many queer people trying to fund any kind of transition during a cost of living crisis, but there’s only so much saving and overtime that I can do myself. So any donation, big or small, would be massively appreciated. And if you can’t donate, sharing this would be hugely appreciated also.

Any funds raised will go straight towards the fees for a consultation and the actual surgery.
