Hello, my name is Tina, and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of a cause that is incredibly dear to my heart. I've known Kevin for three decades, and his presence in my life has been nothing short of cherished and unique. If you've had the privilege of knowing Kevin, you'll understand the wackiness and joy he brings to those around him. During this time, I watched the inception of Kinky Kontrol and the enormous efforts Kevin poured into growing and nourishing a successful screen printing company and cool little gift shop.

Recently, Kinky Kontrol faced an unimaginable challenge when it fell victim to the devastating flames of the great fire that occurred on October 19th of this year. Adding to the frustration, Kevin encountered challenges with his business insurance, and despite having an agent, he was left uncovered for the time of the fire.

To compound the difficulties, the landlord assessed the damage and conveyed that due to the severity of the situation, Kevin was advised not to do business from the store or attempt to salvage anything from the wreckage due to the extent of damage. It was a blow that no small business owner should have to endure. Faced with this dire situation, Kevin made the tough decision to start over from scratch.

Now, more than ever, Kevin needs our collective support to help Kinky Kontrol rise from the ashes. This business he bootstrapped from the ground up deserves a chance to thrive again. To aid in this revitalization, we are rallying for funds to assist Kevin in bridging the gap as he re-enters the workforce in the upcoming weeks. This is for the fundamental tools he needs to make repairs, cover losses from the closure, relocate and store what can be saved while the store gets gutted and refurbished. All while he returns to a “normal” 9-5 while he restores Kinky Kontrol to its former glory and figures out the best path forward.
