Wesene was so excited to become a mom for the very first time. Imagine that joy combined with the horrifying news, in your 8th month of pregnancy, that you have advanced breast cancer. And then you discover that you missed paying your benefit dues by 2 days...and you don't have the means to pay for pain meds without them? P meds for the cancer pain. Imagine only taking xs tylenol for a pain that ravishes her body. The chemo treatments have caused her feet to split open. She can't bathe her son as she can't lift him without enduring terrible pain. And yet this beautiful woman continues to smile. Simply amazing.
