Hi everyone,
We are writing on behalf of our sweet and strong 9-year-old nephew Xander, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma which is a rare and aggressive soft tissue cancer. His diagnosis came just before his 9th birthday on July 1st, turning what should have been a time of celebration into the beginning of the toughest journey of his young life.
Since his diagnosis, Xander has already endured more than most people face in a lifetime. He’s had two tumors surgically removed, a chest tube placed to manage serious complications, and a port inserted in preparation for treatment. He is now awaiting bone marrow and biopsy results, and next week, he will begin his first round of chemotherapy.
Despite everything he’s been through, Xander continues to amaze us with his strength and spirit. He always has a smile on his face, and he still finds joy in his favorite things like playing Minecraft, giggling with his three siblings, and just being a kid as much as he can.
This journey will be long and incredibly tough. His treatment will involve months of intensive chemotherapy, potential radiation, and frequent hospital stays. The emotional and financial toll on his family is overwhelming, and that’s why we’re reaching out for help.
Any contributions will help cover medical bills and ongoing treatment costs, including chemotherapy, essential medications, and necessary home medical devices. They will also ease the burden of travel expenses to and from the hospital, allowing his parents to focus fully on caring for Xander without the added stress of financial strain.
We’re asking for your help, whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply sending love and prayers. We are grateful for any support for Xander and his family through this fight. Every little bit helps lighten the load and brings them one step closer to healing.
Thank you for standing with Xander.
With an abundance of gratitude,
