Sheila Mansker Davis

My name is Marti Jones and I am the mother-in-law of one of Sheila and Phil's sons. I am starting this Go Fund Me to help Philip and their adult children cover the cost of medical expenses and funeral costs.

On December 16th, Philip found Sheila in obvious distress and called the ambulance to have her rushed to the hospital. While at the emergency room they found that she had suffered a brain hemorrhage. Following the hemorrhage, Sheila had three moderate strokes and was moved to Neuro Trauma ICU. She spent two weeks in ICU with no improvement. During this time the family was informed that Sheila would be paralyzed on one side and would have very limited mobility, if any, on the other side. As Sheila's quality of life was discussed, the family agreed to make the difficult decision to make her comfortable and remove life support. Life support was removed on December 30th at 6:00 pm and she passed peacefully at 11:30 pm.

Due to the lack of burial coverage, the family is needing assistance to help cover the cost of cremation and burial plot. Any assistance your family can offer would be greatly appreciated. A service time and location are forthcoming.
