But, thank God, the most precious thing was preserved: the life of our son, Gabriel David. We had just finished paying all our bills, including rent and other expenses, and now we have to start over from scratch — renting a new home, buying beds, mattresses, remake the destroyed documents and the essentials to live again. It’s me, my husband, our 8-year-old son, our 21-year-old son, and my sister. We were left with nothing but the clothes on our backs, yet with the greatest wealth anyone can have: health and life. First of all, we thank God for sustaining us during this difficult time, and we are deeply grateful to all the friends and people who have supported and helped us.

Unfortunately, we didn't know we would have to insure the inside of the house and our car insurance didn't cover the fire.

Neste domingo, dia 17/08/2025, perdemos tudo em um incêndio. Mas, graças a Deus, o mais precioso foi preservado: a vida do nosso filho Gabriel David. Tínhamos acabado de quitar todas as contas, como aluguel e demais despesas, e agora precisamos recomeçar do zero — alugar uma nova casa, comprar camas, colchões, refazer todos os documentos perdidos e o essencial para viver novamente. Somos eu, meu esposo, nosso filho de 8 anos, nosso filho de 21 anos e minha irmã. Ficamos apenas com a roupa do corpo, mas com a maior riqueza que alguém pode ter: a saúde e a vida. Primeiramente, agradecemos a Deus por nos sustentar neste momento difícil, e também a todos os amigos e pessoas que têm nos apoiado e ajudado.

Infelizmente não tínhamos conhecimento que teríamos que fazer seguro de dentro da casa e o seguro dos nossos carros não cobriu o incêndio.
