I have a recurring brain tumor (meningioma). The tumor compresses my brain stem. After four brain surgeries, two rounds of radiation and two radiation surgeries l am left severely disabled and can no longer work. Now I am receiving chemo therapy by IV.
Due to circumstances beyond my control I have now lost my health care insurance and medicare does not cover everything I need on a daily basis.
My 13 year old daughter helps to take care of me.
It is my goal to be able to afford health insurance.
My 13 year old has been selected to skip to the next grade in school. So proud of her.
I have had to cancel two appointments because I cannot afford the health insurance startup , being newly single and totally disabled. My next MRI was postponed until December, chemo treatments are over, so we wait and hope.
