My mother was a beautiful, intelligent, brave soul committed to her career, her children, and God. After coming to this country in her teens, she worked tirelessly to get her engineering degree, support her sisters, and give me and my brother a better life than she had the opportunity to have. She raised us to be as strong and loving as she was and, as long as she could stand, she used her life to serve the Lord and to support her community. I can only attempt to be half as committed, hard-working, and passionate as she was.

It is with a heavy heart that my brother and I lay her to rest after we were informed of her passing on Monday morning. Him being a full-time teacher and me being a full-time student, we're working hard to properly honor her and any support to help with flights and cremation would be much appreciated. No contribution is too small. We have been so grateful for the love and kind messages we have received so far already. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
