Since the start of the year, I have completed a 75 Hard Challenge. I'm now doing doing daily Cold Water Dip raising money and awareness for 2 charities close to my heart. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Curtis Palmer Program .
I'm also set to take part in a 10km Wolf Run this weekend and have organised a 20hr Tripodathon on Sunday 6th July where I will be completing 10 x Cold Water Dips and 5x5km cycle rides and 5x2km Runs on the hour every hour for 20hrs from 2am to 9pm. In September I will doing a 3peaks Challenge with CPP too.
My first wife Emily had Cystic Fibrosis and underwent a double lung transplant at Harefield Hospital. It will be 10 years this year since she passed away on 11th June.
The Curtis Palmer Program has helped me so much since I left my police career behind and continues to support me and so many others.
I have been diagnosed with complex PTSD due to the impact of watching my first wife's courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis and juggling and dealing with many traumatic incidents in my shortened police career.
I am hoping this cold water therapy helps improve my mental health and puts me in a better place overall.
Day 45 of 75 Hard
