Hi my name is Miranda and I am starting a fundraiser for my young nephew and his girlfriend. They are new parents to a 3 month old baby girl named Haven Angelica. Haven was recently life flighted to Children’s Hospital Colorado, 8 hours away from home. She was born with biliary atresia and went undiagnosed until now. Biliary atresia is a rare gastrointestinal disorder characterized by destruction or absence of all or a portion of the bile duct that lies outside the liver. This condition is untreatable and she will now need a liver transplant. She has been bumped up on the transplant list but is facing a long hospital stay in a different state. I am raising money to help the parents with traveling expenses, food, and necessities during this time. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
