I am following the call folks! I have been accepted into the Youth With A Mission discipleship training school in Belize for January! I feel that God is asking me to take a leap of faith and to follow this adventure that he has planned for me. I have been praying about the YWAM program for about 6 months now and on Christmas Eve I was formally accepted during my phone interview.
In Belize I will be deeply immersed in His word and community. The discipleship training is to prepare me for spreading His message in the outreach phase. After my academic discipleship phase I am then launched to an area where I can be a fisher of men. For example, a good friend of mine went to Tokyo during outreach.
Prayer is much needed and appreciated. I want this to be a transformative experience facilitated by God, to further grow the foundation in my faith while being an authentic instrument for Him. This is a first for me. Stepping out with many risks and unknowns is so uncomfortable but, I know he will take care of me no matter where His plans direct me.
I am in great need of financial support as well in addition to prayer. Between flights to different nations and living expenses I will need financial help. My monetary need is substantial, around $10,000 which will take care of flights, living costs, and my studies.
I have personally committed all of my financial resources to this journey, but need further help from whoever feels called to give. Would you consider partnering with me as I step out in faith to answer God's call?
In this crazy turn of events I need to purchase a flight from Birmingham (I'll be there for my cousins wedding) to Belize, then Belize to San Pedro Ambergris Caye via Tropic Air on January 3rd. I know... crazy right?
