Hello I'm Tammy Holbrook and this is something that is difficult to write but, FIRST would you kindly keep my my cousin Chris and his 3 children in your PRAYERS They are in great need of help. Our family is close and we've all helped as much we could. Let me start by giving you a little back ground on his family. Chris & Donna got married in 1993 & had 3 wonderful children. Being young in there 20s like most young couples BURIAL INSURANCE was not something they thought about. Soon after the children's births, Donna was diagnosed with Breast Cancer she had a mastectomy, chemotherapy & radiation & she went into remission. After this Donna was tested and so were the children. Donna & 2 of the children were tested positive for the P53 GENE. Which means at some point in the children's life they have a greater chance of being diagnosed with cancer. Dakota the youngest child was diagnosed at the age of 4 with adrenal cortal carcinoma. Dakota had to have a cantaloupe size tumor and adrenaline glads removed. He has been in remission for 10 years now. Then the awful disease returned within Donna with vengeance!! Donna had multiple tumors appear all over her body and had been taken medications to try and keep them from growing as well as more chemotherapy & radiation. The tumors made there way to Donna's brain ( 16 to be exact) and she had been living with them for a little over a year. Chris had a stroke a few of years back and had not been able to return to work so he was able to receive his disability, which isn't enough to take care of 5 people . Chris has been doing all the care giving for her and the children. Donna passed away December 22,2016. As I mentioned before there is NO burial insurance. He has had to make the hard decisions to cremate Donna instead of a proper burial that he & the children would prefer. Even making that decision he has No Money for this either. So as of now she is at the crematory until Chris can pay for the service to be done. If you could find it in your heart to donate something, anything would be greatly appreciated.
