Fire destroy's Mascia home

Our friend and colleague, John-Michael Mascia and his fiance, Dustyn Gomes, lost their home last night in a fire. John-Michael was returning home from a visit to the offices here in Dallas while his fiancé was away at a holiday event. No information yet on what caused the fire, but what we know at this point is that the fire department is considering it a total loss as a result of arson and burglary. Aside from their essentials, they lost cash, electronics, furniture, their safe, social security cards and passports. As John-Michael said, "it's a mess". They are safe and staying with Dustyn's family.

I have done some quick reading-up on what to do to help in situations like a house fire. It seems that their immediate need is to take care of basic necessities. In situations like this, it can take a long time before insurance provides any financial support. To aid in them bridging this gap, please consider donating money to help them re-build their lives. Let's rally and help them through this time and get them back on track to enjoying the holidays and planning their wedding!
