Medical bills in Jamaica

Hi. My mum, dad & their 2 friends were attacked in Jamaica unprovoked. Beaten to a pulp. My dad having a dislocation & small fracture, my mum & Gail being black & blue, black eyes (they was trying to gauge their eyes out) !!
This led to them all needing medical attention & paying thousands per person just to be seen at a low grade hospital.
Luckily my mum & dad sorted their bills out as family sent the money over. Their bill was just less thank 4K.
In Gail & Rays case this is not the same. Sadly Ray has a clean break in his leg & is now not fit to fly. The hospital said they need a payment of £38,000 before they are able to operate. They have contacted insurance but not heard anything back.
They are due to fly home on Thursday but Unfortunately they HAVE to pay before he is allowed down to theatre & get the operation before they come home.
As you can imagine the hospitals over there are VERY dodgy. They con money out of you left right & center. The sooner he gets the op the sooner Ray and his partner can get home to their children! any penny helps x
