Memorial for Debra
Jennifer Vicknair is organizing this fundraiser.
Hello, my name is Jennifer Vicknair and I am asking you to please support us in laying my mom, Debra Fisher, to rest. Our beloved mother passed tragically and unexpectedly. She was called to heaven on June 27th surrounded by her three daughters.
My mom had slipped and fallen, injuring her leg. It quickly became infected and she was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital, she went into septic shock. She had a heart attack and coded for 10 minutes and was resuscitated. Afterward, she was brought into surgery to remove the infected tissue from her leg and torso.
Following surgery, she showed no signs of improvement and her organs were failing. We were told to say our final goodbyes. During her final moments, my sisters and I shared our fondest memories with her, played some of her favorite songs, and sang to her. We held her hand until her last breath. Saying goodbye was the hardest and most painful experience for the three of us. We know our mom is dancing with the angels but we miss her so much.
The funds provided will be used to help with her cremation, memorial expenses, and her urn(s). Any additional funds will be used for travel expenses to get to the memorial since my younger sister and I are out of state.
Debra's memorial service will be held on September 2nd at 1 PM at the Seven Springs Golf & Country Club (Palm Room.) We invite family and friends to attend and share fond memories of her life. We ask attendees to wear purple.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
